ANNUAL PERMITS
Ideal for employees who will park on campus most weekdays. These virtual permits are based on your license plate number, and will activate once you complete the registration process.
Annual permits are available for purchase now. If you need to park on campus during the summer months, speak with your department’s transportation coordinator.

WHERE YOU'LL PARK
These permits are valid in your primary assigned lot as well as overflow parking. Overflow lots include: K, P, U, V, X1, XX1, Z, Stadium Drive Garage and any lot that begins with a number except Lot 2.
You may be directed to park in your overflow lots if a special event or construction impacts your assigned lot.
HOW TO PURCHASE
Contact your department’s transportation coordinator to register for an annual permit. They will help you complete the required forms below. These forms must be authorized by the transportation coordinator before you send them to the DOTS office at Regents Drive Garage.

- Payroll Deduction Form
Most employees pay for their annual permit through payroll deduction. If you purchase your annual permit through payroll deduction, it will automatically renew until you send the payroll deduction cancellation form to DOTS.
Cancellation: Payroll deduction registrations do not expire and it is the responsibility of the employee to cancel the parking registration when it is no longer needed and to send the payroll deduction cancellation form to DOTS. Work with your department's transportation coordinator to cancel your annual permit.
DISCOUNT FOR ANNUAL PERMIT HOLDERS
- A carpool permit gives you a 50% discount, plus other benefits! Our Smart Commute platform matches you with other university members who want to share their commute as well. Carpool permit registrations will open in early August 2024.
- A green permit discount gives va 20% discount to permit holders whose vehicles qualify as EPA SmartWay Elite.
BUY A 2-DAY (32 uses) OR 3-DAY (48 uses) PERMIT TO PARK AS NEEDED
Ideal for employees who will not be on campus every day, but still need campus parking several days per week. Students, including graduate students, are not eligible.

Faculty/staff overflow lots only. Overflow lots include: K, P, U, V, X1, XX1, Z, Stadium Drive Garage and any lot that begins with a number except Lot 2.
Construction or a special events occasionally affect faculty/staff overflow lots. We may ask you to relocate your vehicle from the affected location to another overflow lot.
By switching to this type of permit from an annual permit, your department may choose to reassign your previous space to another individual.
HOW TO USE
This is a virtual permit based on your license plate. Each time you use a permit, you must activate it through your NuPark account before parking on campus. The permit must be activated on the day you plan to use it.
HOW TO PURCHASE
Complete the 2-day/3-day request form two full business days before you need to park. You will have the option to enroll in payroll deduction or pay in full.
DOTS staff will review your completed request and add the permits to your parking account. You will then receive an email with information about online payment and instructions for using the permits.
Completing this form does not cancel your active semester or annual permit. You must do that separately through your department's Transportation Coordinator.
