The 26 electric vehicle charging stations on campus are located in visitor lots are are open to the public. 

All originally-equipped fully electric vehicles will qualify for the green vehicle discount, which gives 20% off of an annual parking permit. More details

Electric Vehicle Parking Policy

Only electric vehicles are permitted to park in EV spaces. When parking in an EV space, EV drivers must have a campus parking permit or pay the hourly rate if they do not have a campus permit. EV drivers are not charged for the electricity.

For Campus Parking Registrants

Vehicles parked in designated charging spaces must be actively charging.  Once charging is complete, vehicles must be relocated or the driver must begin paying the hourly rate for parking. Make a payment using the available meter, pay station, or ParkMobile app, depending upon the location.

For Visitors and Individuals without Campus Permits

Drivers must pay the hourly rate for parking while using campus charging stations.  Make a payment using the available meter, pay station, or ParkMobile application depending upon the location.  Vehicles parked in designated charging spaces must be actively charging. Once charging is complete, vehicles must be relocated or continue paying to park.

For all EV drivers

EV drivers may not park in non-designated charging spaces and extend the charging cord from a designated space to their non-designated space. EV drivers may not unplug any vehicle that is charging or that has finished charging but remains in the space.
