To qualify for the green vehicle discount, your vehicle must qualify as an EPA SmartWay Elite vehicle. Please follow these steps to see if your vehicle qualifies.

1. Visit: https://www.epa.gov/greenvehicles/find-smartway-vehicle

2. Using the search feature, select the model year, select Maryland as the state, the vehicle class and the vehicle make.

3. Select your vehicle from the search results.

4. Select “Energy and Environment” from the menu tab.

5. Scroll down and select “Maryland” for “state of purchase” under EPA Smog Rating.

6. To qualify, your vehicle must be rated EPA SmartWay Elite. A regular EPA SmartWay rating is not sufficient.
