Due to forecasted inclement weather, the university will close early at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2025

The DOTS' offices in Regents Drive Garage will close at 12 p.m. but staff will continue to be available by phone and email until 2 p.m.

 

PARKING

Beginning at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 11, anyone with or without a parking permit may park their vehicle in any campus garage parking space. Moving your vehicle to a campus garage aids in the snow clearing process from surface lots. During this time, payment is not required in visitor parking locations inside campus garages. Please do not park on the roof of the garage.

Normal parking restrictions will resume at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, February 12, or when the university reopens.

 

SHUTTLE-UM

Shuttle-UM will operate modified service:

  • 104 College Park/Discovery District - Service ends at 2:30 p.m.
  • 105 Campus Connector - Service ends at 2:30 p.m.
  • 108 Adelphi - Last departure from Regents Drive Garage at 1:30 p.m.
  • 111 Silver Spring - Last departure from Regents Drive Garage at 11:50 a.m.
  • 113 Hyattsville - Last departure from Regents Drive Garage at 1:25 p.m.
  • 114 University View - Service ends at 2:30 p.m.
  • 115 Orange - No service 
  • 116 Purple - No service 
  • 117 Blue - No service 
  • 118 Gold- No service 
  • 122 Green- No service 
  • 126 New Carrollton - Last departure from Regents Drive Garage at 1 p.m.
  • 128 North College Park - Last departure from Stamp Student Union - Lot HP at 10:35 a.m. 
  • 129 Tempo - Last departure from Regents Drive Garage at 2:06 p.m.
  • 132 The Varsity - Service ends at 2:30 p.m. 
  • 141 Gaithersburg - Last departure from Alumni Drive at Tawes Hall at 2:30 PM 
  • 142 Columbia Park and Ride - Last departure from Alumni Drive at Tawes Hall at 2:30 PM 
  • 143 Greenbelt - Last departure from Regents Drive Garage at 11:15 a.m.
