9/20: International Park(ing) Day Celebration!
Friday, 9/20, from 10 a.m.–3 p.m., come celebrate International Park(ing) Day, where Terps join communities all over the world in creating beautiful and interactive pop-up parks to reimagine our public spaces. On-campus, student clubs and our DOTS Sustainability Team will be creating pop-up parks, to bring fun and color to the gray asphalt parking spaces on Preinkert Drive by Queen Anne’s Hall. Get free dried Black Eyed Susans from the landscape architecture club, explore sustainable modes of transport with the urban planning club, and ride the DOTS Smoothie Bike to make your own free smoothie in our pedal-powered blender!
