Donate now to get your parking citation reduced!
From November 17 through December 5, you can reduce your parking citation fee when you donate non-perishable food items at Regents Drive Garage. All food will be donated to The Campus Pantry.
No Ticket? No Problem!
Donate 10 items and receive a validation code for one free day of parking in designated visitor areas.
WHAT TO DONATE
Bring 10 items from this list to qualify:
- Canned vegetables
- Canned beans
- Dry pasta (no ramen, please)
- Canned meat (chicken, tuna, sardines)
- 1 Box individually wrapped bar soap (10 count or greater)
- 1 box of feminine care products (30 count or greater)
WHAT GETS REDUCED
- $45 citation → $15
- $85 citation → $25
- Late fee waived (if the ticket hasn’t transferred)
Citations greater than $85 are not eligible.
How to Donate
- Donations must be delivered to the DOTS office in Regents Drive Garage: Monday-Friday, 8:15 a.m.- 4 p.m.
- Individuals must donate 10 items from the item list to be eligible for a citation reduction.
- $45 citations will be reduced to $15, $85 citations will be reduced to $25
- If the citation already has a late fee, donating 10 items will also waive the late fee.
- Each individual account may only receive a reduction on one active citation.
- An active citation is defined as a citation that has not yet transferred to the Office of Student Financial Services.
- The individual must pay the remaining balance due for their active citation when they bring their food items to DOTS.
