The DOTS Parking Cash Out is closed for the 2019-2020 academic year.
----------
DOTS' Parking Cash Out will open on Monday, August 5, offering $450 to the first 75 eligible employees who give up their parking permit and commit to a sustainable commute for the entire 2019-2020 academic year. New this year, the program will offer a $300 cash incentive to 25 eligible graduate students.
"The Parking Cash Out program was the reason why I started my sustainable commute. Within weeks, I was hooked. I live in Silver Spring and I can take the metro in and catch the 104 or take the 111 to campus. Not driving to work allowed me to get more walking in, take in the sun, relax and not worry about traffic, catch up on my TV shows. In short, it changed my life. I love commuting to work and would not go back to driving." - Kishwar K., UMD staff
