Get on your bikes and ride!
The University of Maryland Department of Transportation Services (DOTS) and University Recreation and Wellness (RecWell) have partnered to host a week of cycling fun during this year’s UMD Bike Week, April 3 to April 7.
Bike Week is an annual event that highlights cycling programs on and around campus, builds community among university cyclists, and encourages biking as a means for commuting sustainably.
“Spring is here! We know you have places to go. Let’s get there together using one of our favorite sustainable vehicles - the bicycle! Join us for our annual Bike Week celebration - jam-packed with opportunities to dust off your bike, pick up DIY maintenance & safety tips, and explore riding paths in the area” says Marta Woldu, who manages the Sustainable Transportation program at the university.
