CAR FREE DAY IS SEPTember 22
Car Free Day is a free international event celebrated every September 22 in which people are encouraged to get around without driving alone in cars and instead ride a train, bus, bicycle, carpool, vanpool, subway, or walk. Celebrate Car Free Day with us by keeping your car parked and hopping on your bike to commute to UMD, and enjoy free breakfast* snacks, coffee and juice upon arrival!
Whether you decide to bike in with us, or choose another greener way to travel, all participants are encouraged to take the Car Free Day Pledge.
