Staff Human Resources Manager - student

The Student Staff Human Resources Manager supervises a team of student Human Resources Assistants in facilitating the recruitment and hiring process for all student positions within the department. The position requires 15-20 hours a week with $14.18/hr compensation. Graduating seniors and graduate students are not eligible for this position. 

Position responsibilities

    but are not limited to: 

    • Assisting with the overall hiring process for all departmental student positions 
    • Providing payroll related information to, and process payroll documents for, student staff 
    • Assisting in managing student personnel information through the maintenance of various databases 
    • Assisting and participating in recruiting events 
    • Working collaboratively with management and staff to facilitate a positive relationship 
    • Promoting a fun, supportive and professional work environment 


    • Excellent customer service skills 
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
    • Working knowledge of office automation used to produce various documents 
    • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills 
    • The ability to multi-task and effectively adapt to change 
    • Strong leadership skills 
    • The desire to plan, organize, and successfully conduct recruitment events 
    • Have an interest in developing and enhancing our current hiring initiatives, and offer thoughtful and creative new ways to help our hiring efforts
