Official Game Rules
· One promotional scratch-off game ticket will be issued for each cash or
credit card transaction at a University of Maryland College Park cashier-attended
parking facility.
· To win one of several grand prizes, you must collect all the hour segments to complete
the DOTS clock. Each hour represents one of DOTS many services to the campus.
· Only scratch off the spot designated for game play. The game ticket will be void if
submitted with the “For DOTS Use Only” spot already scratched off.
· Instant winning tickets for FUTURE discount on hourly parking fees at the University
Of Maryland College Park cashier-attended facilities can be submitted directly to
cashier upon exit. This discount must be completed through a cashiered transaction, as
it cannot be applied via an automated in-lane pay station. Discount ticket NOT valid at
UMUC (University of Maryland, University College) garage.
· All other instant winning tickets MUST be submitted to DOTS for verification by 4:00
p.m. on June 2, 2008. If found to be valid, DOTS will exchange ticket for item shown.
· Promotion ends upon distribution of all scratch-off tickets OR May 21, 2008, whichever
occurs first. Promotion may also be cancelled without notice at the discretion of DOTS
.
· Scratch-off ticket is void if irregular in any manner or fails to meet validation test.
· DOTS is not responsible for replacing tickets claimed to be lost or stolen.
· Scratch-off tickets, regardless of prize, have no cash value. Change will not be given if
discount exceeds cost of parking fee.
· DOTS employees or their family members are ineligible to win any prizes being
awarded in this promotion.
· Any customers transacting a cash or credit card sale through an automated in-lane pay
station must provide qualifying receipt to DOTS in order to receive scratch-off ticket,
as machine is unable to dispense ticket.
· Instant winning tickets for future parking fee discounts must be redeemed by 12/19/08.
· Gift cards and gift certificates all have varying expiration dates for redemption, ranging
from 6 – 24 months.
· No purchase required. To obtain 1 (one) free scratch-off ticket, mail request containing
your name and address to:
